Obsidian Horizon is built around depth rather than ornament. Its near-black surface carries restrained horizon-like movement, creating a dark, frameless presence that changes under warm, raking or candlelight.
Multiple layers of pigmented resin are poured and worked by hand over several days. In even light the surface appears almost monolithic; from an angle, its movement and tonal variation emerge. The absence of a frame keeps the silhouette uninterrupted and allows the material itself to define the work.
